spent behind that resort’s gate.
day visitors, out of place.
the serpentine swimming pool
in the summit summer sun.
soaking in the outdoor hot tub
as the snow danced in the night light.
running to the banks of white,
rolling and laughing,
our bodies steaming.
and then, the tingling
when we slip back in.
