I’m sure more will get written about this but Steamboat was our honorary halfway mark and we thought since the CDT didn’t have a halfway point tradition that we would make one up, hence the CDT TDC—Continental Divide Trail Thirteen Donut Challenge. We figure the trail is gonna be about 2600 miles for us and 1300 is the halfway marker so a baker’s dozen fits perfectly. Here are photos, Kevin was the newly crowned champion eating the donuts and quart of soy milk in under an hour. Brett came in second place after holding the lead for a commanding 45 minutes. He finished his a few minutes after Kevin but he did drink over a quart of skim milk. I came in last place after a poor showing of only 7 donuts and two glasses of 1% milk.

Valiant effort.
if i knew 13 donuts in one sitting was part of the deal, i’d walk most places.
cake donuts will put you down.
nice!
I could have participated in that activity,,, all the rest of your trip is too difficult and challenging for me. ha!! Barbara and for Bob!!
